Now I know I said no news till good news, but hopefully tomorrow will be the day that the bank will finally pay our long suffering builder. It took the bank a good 7 minutes from me hanging up from said complaints hotline till they called and said that things will be sorted in the next 24 hours... coincidence, me thinks not!
So lets pretend that all is good and finally here are some pictures, yeah.
Here is the first cut into our beautiful & green grassy block.

And just like that we have a slab, this will also be our floor!
This is the front of the house looking towards the back, should the bank actually come through we may even get walls....
Did you take notice of all the surrounding houses in these pictures, that's right there are practically none.
